Thursday yoga with Yun-Chung is a 60 minutes somatic yoga flow session that is designed for people leading a busy daily life. It uses gentle yogic movements to relax body and mind and bring awareness to our body structure, postures and breaths. It is a perfect practice to embrace the day with inner balance and ease in the body. This class is suitable for absolute beginners and all levels.
Class starts from Thursday 12 September 2024, in Hala Centre, Hala Square, Scotforth, Lancaster LA1 4RW.
Thursday evening yoga 6.30-7.30 pm
The evening session aims to release the tension accumulated in our body during the day and let the body and mind come to a state of ease. We will practice yoga poses in a soothing and gentle way and focus more on relaxation to bring inner calmness and a relaxed body for the evening.
Features on Thursday Yoga Practice
My yoga practice always takes the body needs in different seasons into consideration, and the poses will reflect this view. We will mainly practice yoga in a flow style in this class, and occasionally I will introduce some self-massages to enhance the practice.
First class is your free taster class to make sure this class is right for you.
What You Need to Know to Come to Thursday Yoga
- I will provide yoga mats, but you are very much encouraged to bring your own yoga mat and blanket for relaxation to the class. Using one’s own mat for personal yoga practice is always the best.
- Advance booking is preferable. Drop-in on the day is welcome. I personally enjoy small class and quality teaching, so the class will take in only 10 participants at a time. so please check with me for place availability first to avoid disappointment. (07 888 898 945 / journeytoease@gmail.com)
Covid Notice for Thursday Yoga class: If you are tested covid positive, please take a break from the class and have a negative test before coming to the class again. If you have covid, I will just roll the paid session onwards and no worries of losing the session credit. Hope we all find ease and health in this yoga class.
Thursday Yoga Autumn Term 2024 Course
Duration: 12 September-12 December, with a half-term break on 24 October, 13 sessions in total
General content: All the Thursday Yoga sessions will do full body work with movements and poses. There is nevertheless a main theme we will look into throughout the term. After three terms of Thursday Yoga, I hope all the muscles and bones in our body are efficiently explored and trained. The autumn term aims to focus firstly on breathing and movement. Later we will shift more attention to tone and work on lower body in a gentle way.

Once you book and pay for the session(s), you can choose to come to the morning or evening session as your regular class. If you cannot come to the session, please let me know so I have a clear idea how many people are in the studio so as to keep the social distancing in check. Thanks.
